Re: 1Ds MK3 Output Rubber Cover. Canon replaced my missing one on a 1D Mark III for no charge when they had my camera in for a servicing. You might try calling Canon and asking them if they'll send you one or two. BTW: Whereas the original could be unscrewed pretty easily, the replacement is quite snug.

High ISO capabilities aside, I was wondering how the image quality compares between a Canon 1Ds Mark ii and a Canon 5D Mark ii. I have a 5d (Classic( which I love. And I recently sold my 40D. I most photograph children, families, and events (weddings, sweet sixteens, etc.).
