Have you time to call FIAT before going to the ferry tomorrow? Could just be a sensor/diagnostic fault. Are all other readings normal. What gear were you in when the warning came on? Sounds like your coolant level is low.The light coming on means things are getting too hot. If the motor is cold you can open the filler to check the level and top up if required. You will then need to bleed the trapped air out by filling to the top and opening the screws on the heater hose and top of the radiator until the bubbles stop.

I know it sounds dumb, but several people have found that start/stop is disabled if the hood is not latched properly. On the dash are a red seat belt light and a red airbag light. The only sensible way forward is to get your vehicle connected to a diagnostic machine that can read faults in the supplementary restraint system (airbags, seat belt pretensioners etc) Doing so will help find out which of the many components may be at fault. Exp. 1999. Feb 12, 2017. #25. Disconnect the wiring ,unscrew the sensor until it drains ,retighten and refit wires .open the little nut/screw on the top of filter (about 2turns) turn on ignition until clear fuel comes out of top and retighten , if light stays on you will need to reset it with a computer.
